I primarily use a band like this for notifications, which is why I don’t wear a full-fledged smart watch. If you’ve seen me, you’d know that fitness, as much as it should be, isn’t really high on my list of priorities. But this was an occasional glitch, something that Fitbit should be able to address with an OTA update. Every now and then however I did notice that the step tracker would even count steps when I was riding a motorcycle. In terms of activity tracking, it has all the major trackers you would expect a watch of this range to have and in my time with it the sensors are mostly accurate as well. I would’ve preferred a tap to wake function because I wear a few bracelets and it becomes a bit of a task squeezing the body to wake the screen. To wake the screen up, you can either set it up such that you lift your wrist or you squeeze the watch from either side. The band uses a bright colour touch screen which is bright enough to see and interact with even in harsh sunlight. It gets most of the features that you get in the Charge 5 but with a slightly smaller footprint and a smaller price tag as well. The Fitbit Inspire 3 is the middle of the line fitness tracker band in the company’s range.
